Telltale Games and LucasArts are celebrating 'International Talk Like a Pirate Day' with a number of Monkey Island offers

Following yesterday's details on the third chapter, to mark the occasion (which starts tomorrow, ya land-lubbers) Telltale is making the first Tales Of Monkey Island chapter available to download for free via the Telltale website for one day only.

Meanwhile LucasArts is offering discounts on the recently released The Secret Of Monkey Island: Special Edition, with 50 per cent off of the iPhone and iPod touch version on the Apple App Store, the same discount for the PC version via Steam and a load of other download sites. It might be worth waiting, though, as LucasArts will also be releasing a free version of game on iPhone – but whether it's the full version or not is unconfirmed.
